REFLECTION
The course EDET101 has been very informative and enlightening. I appreciated the chance to explore technological tools and I agreed technology can be a useful tool to get students involved. It is simple and creative, and the various programs are easy to manipulate. Differently, I wish I did some more peer sharing throughout the course. Technology has a tendency to cause individuals to become individualistic and reclusive, and I found that I was falling a bit into that bracket. I should have been bouncing my ideas amongst my colleagues and soaking in further information out there regarding the programs. If the course were longer, I would have loved to learn how to get students involved more in technology, for example, to share tips on how to let students appreciate and embrace this to better their academic achievement. Additionally the web programs are very useful, so a step by step guide on how to use this technology for assessment would have been welcomed. The course was a success, and the style utilized by the instructor brought life and meaningful purpose to it.
